Lean Library

On April 30th, 2024, the Texas Tech University Libraries will decommission the Lean Library browser extension.

If you like the convenience of Lean Library, we recommend installing the LibKey Nomad browser extension. Nomad makes it easier to access full-text resources when you start your research at websites like Google Scholar, Wikipedia, or publisher webpages. The Nomad browser extension is a reliable, unobtrusive alternative to Lean Library. 

To install the Nomad extension, navigate to the LibKey Nomad download page and select your browser from the list at the bottom of the page. Follow your browser's prompts to complete the installation, and then select “Texas Tech University” as your organization. Now when you search on the open web, look for the navy blue button in the bottom left corner of your screen and click to connect to full text resources available from the TTU Libraries.
