Faculty Members Inducted Into TTU's Teaching Academy

Over the past few years, five of our School of Music faculty members were inducted into the Teaching Academy in 2018 and 2019: Prof. Annie Chalex Boyle, Dr. Jacqueline Henninger, and Dr. Stacey Jocoy, Prof. Jenny Dees, and Dr. Blair Williams.

Over the past few years, five of our School of Music faculty members were inducted into the Teaching Academy in 2018 and 2019: Prof. Annie Chalex Boyle, Dr. Jacqueline Henninger, and Dr. Stacey Jocoy, Prof. Jenny Dees and Dr. Blair Williams. Their excellence as education was thus recognized and honored.  

 According to the TLPDC, "the mission of the Teaching Academy at Texas Tech University is to advocate for teaching excellence, promote service related to the university's teaching mission, advise and mentor colleagues and others, and share knowledge about teaching strategies and their implementation as appropriate."  In order to be selected for membership into the Teaching Academy, applicants must fulfill specific criteria, including "evidence of teaching excellence at Texas Tech" and "evidence of promoting teaching improvement at Texas Tech." Over the years, several of our School of Music colleagues also became members of the Teaching Academy.
