SoM faculty members, Dr. Tatiana Mann, Dr. Lauryn Salazar and Dr. Angela Mariani-Smith were selected as Fellows in the 2020 – 2021 Texas Tech University Institute for Inclusive Excellence.

Initiated in 2009, the Institute for Inclusive Excellence offers faculty the opportunity to "promote a greater understanding of the academic value of diversity"  and to "consider inclusive pedagogies and best practices in the classroom and the university as a whole."  Participants gain a richer understanding of achieving academic success through a model of inclusive excellence and learn strategies on how to best prepare TTU students to be "multiculturally competent" and "globally competitive" while they help the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in their development of policies and programs advancing academic and professional environment promoting diversity and quity at Texas Tech.
