Brad Light is a Lecturer of Music in Choral Studies and Music Education at Texas Tech University. He conducts the Matador Singers tenor-bass choir, TTU Opera Theater, and teaches Choral Methods, Choral Pedagogy, and Choral Conducting to future music educators. Before coming to Texas Tech University, He taught high school and middle school choir at Lee's Summit North High School and in the greater Kansas City area for six years. He holds degrees from Harding University, the University of Mississippi, and Texas Tech University.

Brad has led choirs in notable performances for the Missouri Music Educators Association In-service Workshop/Conference, at Kansas City's Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, and Chicago Symphony Hall. He has served as a guest clinician for the Christian Academy Choral Festival and the Annual All-State Choir Camp at Texas Tech University. Brad is also an active choral musician and can be heard on Kantorei of Kansas City's recording, To Bethlehem: Motets and Carols for Christmas, released by Resonus Classics.

Dr. Light is a member of ACDA, NAfME, TCDA, and TMEA and has served as coordinator of the KC Metro Men's District Choir for MMEA.
