Experience the real West at this 27-acre museum and outdoor historical park established to preserve and interpret ranching history.
Maps & Tours
Most tours of the museum and historic park are self-guided and typically take from 60 to 90 minutes depending on the age and interest of the visitor.
Printed maps and our smartphone app are available free of charge to enhance your visit. The smartphone app includes a GPS that allows you to see where you are at all times in the 19-acre historic park, see photos and hear audio of background information for each structure, and find restrooms and specific structures of interest. Posted signs give a history of the historic structures in both English and Spanish.
The NRHC offers 30-minute trolley tours of the historical park at 10:30 a.m. every Thursday through the months of March to October for $5 per person. Trolley tours are cancelled in bad weather. The trolley seats 21 passengers and seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Trolley tickets are available for purchase in the NRHC gift shop.
