Biography

I graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Wildlife Science in 2008.  I am studying urban birds as compared to tree coverage and house prices.  The hope for this project is to find an easy way to identify good wildlife habitat and how much people put a value on trees and habitat.

My background is pretty varied.  Since graduating I have worked all of the country with different agencies including coastal marsh birds in Louisiana and Texas, pygmy rabbits and pocket gophers in Wyoming, and amphibian and reptiles in both Wyoming and Missouri. After I get my masters at Texas Tech, I plan to become a wildlife biologist maybe with a focus in urban ecology.
