Biography

I'm from Colombia.  I'm a biologist and I have a master in Biological Sciences. I did my undergraduate studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia. My thesis focused on: effective seed dispersal of bats and diet of frugivorous bats where I made an evaluation of the quality of germination of seed eaten by bats. After finishing my bachelor degree I started my master program at the same University. I work with metacommunity structure of bats, figured it out that there are specific patterns of distribution of species and this distribution affects ecological process. My research interest are in determine how environmental changes can affect bat metacommunity structure and how can we predict those changes in new climate change and anthropogenic land use scenarios.
