Rowdy White, M.S.
Biography
I grew up on the Rolling Plains of Texas where I fell in love with wide vistas and dry country. My personal interests include reading, writing, natural history, hiking, and regional history. Recently I fulfilled a life-long dream of completing my bachelor's degree at Texas Tech University (BS Natural Resources Management- Wildlife Biology).
After spending the last few years finishing my degree and working seasonally as a wildlife technician for Texas Parks and Wildlife and The Quail – Tech Alliance, I long to work as a biologist for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in any position which would afford me the opportunity to conduct both research and management. My current research involves quantifying vegetation characteristics of Northern bobwhite habitat using GPS transmitters and unmanned aerial vehicles.
