Darla Anderson
Staff Grad Coordinator; Administrative Assistant
Darla was born and raised in New Mexico. She was raised in the country and always
had horses and other livestock as well as pets around. Her parents worked hard to
provide food for the family and this included a large garden every year, which Darla
worked in and helped her mother to can, freeze, and put up for the years' sustenance.
Darla has worked in the medical field as a medical assistant and since 2012 worked
as a case worker for food stamps and medicaid. Since Darla started with Texas Tech
in February 2022, she has enjoyed working at NRM with helping students with paperwork
associated with degree plans, committee membership, and Graduate School paperwork.
She helps with Graduate academic program questions. She helps faculty with audits
from the Graduate School. She will email announcements for volunteer and job openings.
She schedules rooms at CASNR and Goddard and desk assignments for grad students.
