• Will the point values of test questions migrate to RaiderCanvas?
  • You will need to check the point values of each of your test questions in RaiderCanvas, not all test question point values were migrated from Blackboard.
• Did quizzes migrate to RaiderCanvas as Classic Quizzes or New Quizzes?
  • Quizzes migrated as New Quizzes to Canvas.

    • Classic Quizzes will be phased out by Instructure. You cannot link Outcomes to Classic Quizzes.

    • New Quizzes has more question types and quiz setting functionality. Outcomes can be used with New Quizzes

• Matching Questions:

  • You will need to check your matching questions in RaiderCanvas. If you use a choice more than once, the question will need to be reviewed. It is possible they didn’t migrate correctly. 
  • If you had images in matching questions, the images did not migrate to your course in RaiderCanvas:
• Multiple Blank Questions:
  • If you had a multiple blank quiz type in Blackboard, it is possible that all the answer options did not migrate over to the quiz question in RaiderCanvas. These quiz questions will need to be reviewed:
• Ordering or Jumbled Sentence Questions:
  • If you had ordering or jumbled sentence questions in Blackboard, those quiz questions have been converted to matching questions:
  • 
• Formulas:

  • Some formulas were not able to migrate. These will be listed in the exception log.

  • It is recommended that you check all complex formulas for errors.

• Audio Clips
  • You will need to re-link your audio files to quiz questions. They did not migrate to the quiz questions in RaiderCanvas.
• Student View Result Settings
  • "Show Test Results and Feedback to Students in Blackboard" will need to be reviewed for each quiz. The settings may not have come over exactly as they were in Blackboard for New Quizzes. Build > Settings > “Restrict student result view”.

• Did the courseware in Blackboard migrate to RaiderCanvas?
  • All of the courseware that was in Blackboard has been integrated into RaiderCanvas. You will have to work with the vendor to be sure your courseware is set up correctly in your courses. We do not have access to assist with the setup of your courseware, it is imperative that you work with your vendor representative.
• Did Feedback Fruits assignments migrate from Blackboard?
  • When you go to your FeedBack Fruits assignments in your migrated courses, you will have the option to link an assignment that you used in Blackboard.
• Gradarious
  • You will need to re-link quizzes if you use Gradarious. The quizzes migrated to RaiderCanvas as an assignment.

•  Will grading schemes migrate to RaiderCanvas?
  • Grading schemes will need to be configured in your course. The default grading scheme is set to percentage. You can add a grading scheme by going to Settings in your course > select Enable course grading scheme > + New Grading Scheme. The grading scheme you have selected in Setting will display in the Total Column in the Gradebook.

• Journals
  
  • If you had Journal assignments in Blackboard, it was converted to an Assignment in RaiderCanvas.
• Blogs
  • If you had a Blog assignment in Blackboard, it was converted to an Assignment in RaiderCanvas.

• Did all of the files in Blackboard courses migrate to RaiderCanvas?
  • Yes, all of the files were migrated from your courses in Blackboard. The files are in the courses, and they are also located in Account under files. The files located in Account are not linked to the files in the courses. Canvas does not have a file repository that can be linked to from a course.
  • The files located in Account have a prefix on them that indicates that the file is also located in the courses. There cannot be duplicate file names in RaiderCanvas.

• Will the Adaptive Release set for items in Blackboard convert to RaiderCanvas?
  • No, you will have to set up Requirements in RaiderCanvas. This includes using the Assign to option and date release options.
