The 6th annual West Texas Assessment Conference is back on the campus of Texas Tech University! The conference will be held October 10, 2017 at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center. Proposals are being accepted up until July 1. Please consider submitting a conference proposal to the conference website:

Online Senior Assessment

 

The Online Senior Assessment (OSA) was administered for the fifth time during the Spring 2016 semester through Qualtrics with the help of Institutional Research (IR). The survey invitation was sent to all TTU senior students with 90 or more credit hours, approximately 2,928 students or 31.5% of the senior population.


 

 

 

 

DigitalMeasures Advances

 

The Office of Planning and Assessment is excited to explain several new DigitalMeasures (DM) reports that have been implemented recently. DM is becoming more and more useful to departments across TTU’s campus and many administrators as well as faculty members are finding it a valuable and functional tool.

Brock Williams is the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He has been at Texas Tech University since 1999.

 

Assessment  Innovation Grant

 

Announcing Assessment Innovation Grant The Office of Planning and Assessment is pleased to announce the Assessment Innovation Grant (AIG) award.

This award is available to faculty and staff who are actively engaged in assessment activities within their department or unit. Our office proudly supports your efforts to improve assessment methodologies, and we encourage you to submit your application for consideration.

Our office will grant 4 AIG awards for the 2017-2018 academic year. The application deadline is September 30, 2017. Winners will be determined from a committee comprised of OPA staff and members of the University-Level IE Committee.
