My expertise lies in comparative politics, with specific teaching and research interests in comparative political economy, comparative legislative politics and measurement, with a regional expertise in Europe. I am active in a variety of projects within these areas, exploring issues related to the political economy of political development (distributive politics, clientelism, democratization), digital politics, and legislative politics in the European Parliament. Papers from my projects appear in British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, European Union Politics, Journal of Politics, Political Analysis, Political Science Research and Methods, and Studies in Comparative International Development.
