Hamed Mohsenian-Rad Dr. Hamed Mohsenian-Rad received a M.S. in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology - Iran in 2004 and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of British Columbia-Canada, in 2008. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas Tech University.

His research interests include design, optimization and game-theoretic analysis of distributed systems such as computer and communication networks and smart grid. Dr. Mohsenian-Rad is the recipient of the Pacific Century Graduate Scholarship from the British Columbia Provincial Government and the postdoctoral fellowship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). He is an associate editor of the International Journal of Electronics and Communications and serves as a Technical Program Committee member in several conferences, including IEEE Globecom, IEEE ICC, IEEE VTC and IEEE CCNC.
