Dr. Wendy Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Texas Tech University. She earned her Ph.D. degree at George Mason University. Her research interests lie in public and nonprofit management and leadership, social entrepreneurship and finance, regional development, and interorganizational collaboration. She teaches MPA (Master of Public Administration) courses in program evaluation and quantitative analysis, strategic planning for nonprofit organizations, and social entrepreneurship. She is a Founders' Fellow at the American Society for Public Administration. Prior to joining Texas Tech, Wendy also had rich experience working for multiple nonprofit organizations, startups, and on Capitol Hill which she seeks to incorporate into all of her research and teaching.
