Dr. Lenka Halamkova earned her M.A. and Ph.D. at Masaryk University in Czech Republic. She is an assistant professor at the Department of Environmental Toxicology. Prior to joining TTU, Dr. Halamkova served as a Research Scientist at SUNY Albany. Her research is focused on multivariate statistics, machine learning, statistical computing, data visualization, and optimization methods as well as creating large or complex datasets in multiple fields. Other research also includes origins, anatomy, development, ecology and evolutionary biology of vertebrates, especially amphibians and reptiles.
