Dr. Sarah DeVille joined the Texas Tech University Libraries faculty in September 2021 as the Head of Access Services. Dr. DeVille earned a B.A. in History from Florida Gulf Coast University, a M.S. in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University and an Ed.D in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University. Originally from Naples, Florida, Dr. DeVille has experience in both public and academic libraries. Most recently she was the Head of Public Services at Ave Maria University. Her research interests include the design of library spaces, demonstrating the value of library services and resources through the lens of student engagement, and serving diverse populations in academic libraries. She is also interested in staff development.
