Strategic Investment for New Faculty Hires

Faculty Colleagues,

As you may know, Texas Tech will hire 35-40 additional faculty through a Strategic Investment Process with the goal of maximizing impact of research and creative endeavors of the university.

While the university has identified five thematic areas of research on campus, the Strategic Investment Process is open to all disciplines and colleges and is focused on finding the best ideas on campus, regardless of the field of study.

During a webinar on Jan. 26, 2022, we detailed this process to nearly 300 TTU faculty members. A recording of the webinar, and information explaining the process is available to all via our website.

Please consider a proposal for the Strategic Investment Process. We look forward to learning more about your exciting ideas as we all work to expand the research abilities and capabilities of Texas Tech University.
