Thomas Kay is from Hutto, Texas and joined Texas Tech in the Fall of 2015. He graduated in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in both History and Theatre Arts. He was previously a Peer Success Coach and in his new position, he has the unique circumstance of transitioning from a student mentor role into a professional. He strives to partner with students in efforts to foster and develop their confidence, abilities, and habits for success. He believes that a focus on developing students for the future is essential to their immediate success in academics. Outside of work he is a passionate sports fan, avid reader, and disc golf player.
