Kamron Newberry, M.S. Student and Assistant Greenhouse Manager

Kamron Newberry is a master's student in the plant and soil science department studying applied horticulture. He received his bachelor's degree in plant and soil science with a concentration in horticulture at Texas Tech University. His research interest is aeroponic crop production, where his goal is to create an automatic operating system so that it can run with minimal human interaction. He will also trial different control methods within the operating system to determine the optimal control settings for aeroponic crop production. Along with conducting research, he is the assistant greenhouse manager here at the Texas Tech Horticulture Gardens and Greenhouse Complex.
