Day 8 - First Full Day in Chile

In Brazil, there were many conversations about the government and how it affected Brazilian businesses. Many of the locals in Brazil, had very strong opinions about their government. The exact opposite is true in Chile. During our presentations today, neither of our speakers spoke pessimistically about the Chilean government.

Day 7 - Last Day in Brazil

The greatest concern expressed by Mr. Zinzato and Mr. Emerson Faria, the investor relations manager, was the political government and whether or not they will attempt to stabilize the Brazilian economy now that election season has passed.

Day 6: Coffee, Brazilian Wall Street, and More Adventures!

As we arrived at Nespresso, we immediately found out that this place LOVES their coffee and they were proud of it, too. The main lobby looked like a museum dedicated to coffee, with its own coffee bar and some of the coolest interactive screens I have ever seen. After about twenty minutes downstairs we were led to a conference room to begin our lesson on Nespresso.

Day 5: Back to Business in Sao Paulo

Accompanying us on our company visits were two Brazilian high school students: Luis and Leo. In addition to visiting Brasil Kirin and Loga, we had a few hours of interactive conversation with the students on the bus rides. They are only 14 years old and juniors in high school (they go to a Brazilian high school and an American high school). They were extremely intelligent and knowledgeable of the government and current issues.
