Brenda J. Peters, a certified public accountant, is a tax director for Houston-based Enterprise Products, a leading North American provider of midstream energy services.

Prior to Enterprise, Brenda served as director of investor relations and assistant treasurer for TEPPCO Partners, L.P. Brenda began her career, in public accounting, with Deloitte (Haskins & Sells).

Brenda received her B.B.A., in accounting, from Texas Tech. While at Texas Tech, she was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Mortar Board and was a charter member and president of the Zeta Tau chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA). Brenda is a former board member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association.

With a passion for the arts, Brenda currently serves on the boards of the Houston Arts Alliance; Arts Connect Houston; and is a life board member (35+ years) of Houston's Ensemble Theatre.

Brenda remains an active member of AKA and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Links, Incorporated.

Brenda is the widow of the Honorable John S. Chase, Jr. and mother to daughter, Christina.
