As EVP - Permian Basin President of Aim Bank, Chris Thompson, pushed the bank forward in both Odessa and Midland as one the largest privately owned banks in the market. 

Prior to building the AimBank presence in the Permian Basin, Chris held a number of different leadership roles, including Market President, for Western National Bank in Odessa. Throughout his professional career, Chris has served on various boards and committees, most recently serving as president of the Big Bend Conservancy, a state-wide board that fundraises for various projects in Big Bend National Park. A native of Littlefield, Chris earned B.B.A degrees at Texas Tech in the areas of Economics, Management and Marketing.

Chris is currently pursuing a law degree. He and his wife, Abby, have three children, Jencee, MJ, and Sawyer. Chris enjoys golf, traveling, reading, and shuttling kids to and from various events almost every single day. He and his family currently reside in Lubbock, Texas.
