Joshua T. Robertson
Driven with a passion to serve and make a difference in the lives of people; Joshua Robertson is a Healthcare Entrepreneur, Executive, and Philanthropist. Growing up in a healthcare family, Joshua knew from a young age he would be involved in some form or fashion. In his final semester at Texas Tech University (undergrad) Joshua wrote and executed a business plan focusing on meeting the medical equipment needs of the hospice industry. Immediately following graduation in May 2006 with a focus in Honors Management and Marketing; Joshua moved home with his parents and started National HME from the ground floor in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2009 Joshua went back to Texas Tech to work on his Executive MBA in which he wrote the strategic plan to expand the organization beyond the borders of Texas. Joshua built an incredible team at National HME growing extremely fast. During his tenure at National HME, the company partnered with over 500 hospice organizations and served 500,000+ patients and their families across the United States. The company was sold in July of 2015 yielding a 5X cash return for private equity investors. Following the National HME transaction, Robertson established a Family Office GrowCo Capital. GrowCo invest in early stage companies and the entrepreneurs that run them; the company also invest capital resources into real estate projects. One of the early investments was a company called E-Mist Innovations. Joshua became its President and CEO in June of 2016. E-Mist introduced the first and only, comprehensive, end-to-end infection control system process in the healthcare setting. The system uses proprietary adaptations of electrostatic technology and induction charging of liquid droplets to produce precise, controlled, high-performance liquid application and management capabilities for treatment of hard and soft surfaces. Joshua with his wife Kristina is very passionate about serving the needs for terminally ill children and adults. The couple founded Project 4031 a 501c3 non-profit focused on providing resources to encourage the regeneration of love, hope, and trust for the terminally ill and their families; allowing them to soar to higher ground. Josh has and will always have a special place in his heart for Texas Tech University and the Rawls College of Business as they played a key role in his life and contributed to the foundations of his current organizations. Joshua wants to give back as much as he can, so when the opportunity to be a founding member of the Rawls Raiders Alumni Network came along he knew this was his chance to give back to University, Rawls College, and amazing students! Josh adores his beautiful bride Kristina Robertson also 2006 TTU Alum and their adorable boys Jack, James, and Jude. When he is not spending time with his family, working, or volunteering his time he loves the outdoors fly fishing, hunting, and simply enjoying the story God has given him the opportunity to be a part of.
