Mark Griffin, 67, is president of The Griffin Companies consisting of Rip Griffin Truck Service Center, Inc. and the Griffin Family Office, which are investment companies holding positions in numerous and wide-ranging investments. He previously served as president of Pro Petroleum, Inc., a wholesale fuel, transportation and terminalling company operating in the Western U.S. He currently serves as a director of The CH Foundation and as a regent for the Texas Tech University System. He was a previous director for Plains National Bank and the Governor's Economic Development Board. He also served on the Lubbock Independent School District as a trustee from 1994 to 2007. He previously served as a regent for the Texas Tech University System from 2005 to 2009, as well as a trustee for the Covenant Health System from 2003 to 2008, and a director for the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation from 1990 to 1993. He earned his BA degree from the University of Texas and his JD from the Texas Tech University School of Law.

Mark and his wife Claudia have three children, Lauren Hamel, Emily Owen and Jeffrey Griffin, as well as five grandchildren.
