Rawls College Professors Honored by TTU Teaching Academy

John Masselli, Associate Professor of Accounting and Bob McDonald, Associate Professor of Marketing were honored at the TTU Teaching Academy New Member Induction and Awards Ceremony held on October 3.

John J. Masselli, Ph.D., CPA is the Haskell Taylor Professor of Taxation with the Rawls College of Business. Dr. Masselli joined Texas Tech University in 1998. He was inducted into the Teaching Academy in 2002. As well as being honored by the Teaching Academy, he was awarded the President's Excellence in Teaching Award (April 2008) and the New Faculty Award (2000).

Bob McDonald, Ph.D. is the United Supermarkets Professor of Marketing with the Rawls College of Business. Dr. McDonald joined Texas Tech University in 2001. As well as being honored by the TTU Teaching Academy, he has been awarded the President's Excellence in Teaching Award (2005) and the Chancellor's Council Distinguished Teaching Award (2007).

The Teaching Academy was inaugurated in 1997 to demonstrate, support, promote and recognize teaching excellence at Texas Tech.
