Rawls Professor Terry McInturff travel to Costa Rica, Vietnam this summer

July 31-August 14, 2010, eleven students and Center for Energy Commerce Director Terry McInturff will participate in the Center's World Energy Project in Shiroles, Costa Rica. The group will study microfinance and install 50 solar lighting systems in the region's Indigenous area which is not served by grid electricity.

Terry McInturff is also a member of a consortium of Professors and educators awarded the contract to establish the curriculum for Petro Vietnam University, a new petroleum university being created by the national oil company of Viet Nam. He will travel to Hanoi in July as part of his role as lead in establishing the business curriculum for the university.
