ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:After graduating from Southern Methodist University and serving a stint in the Army, Carl Sewell joined the family automobile business founded by his father in 1911. In 1967, the business had one franchise with sales of $10 million and today has grown to 17 franchises with sales in excess of $1 billion. Currently, Sewell is serving a third term as chair of Cadillac's National Dealer Council. Sewell is author of Customers for Life, published in 17 languages with sales over one million, it was recently re-released by Doubleday. Carl has lectured at SMU, The University of Texas, Texas A&M University, the University of Virginia and Harvard University. He has addressed groups from GM, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Amoco, Apple, Toyota and Hyundai.
