Rawls College of Business student receives scholarship from the Texas Business Hall of Fame

Rawls College of Business MBA student, Jenna Payne, was one of nineteen students from across the state of Texas who received $10,000 scholarships from the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation during a ceremony in November.

Jenna Payne, originally from Floydada, Texas, attended Baylor University on a track & field/cross-country scholarship. Jenna graduated in August 2007 with a BBA in Sports, Sponsorship, & Sales and Management. Upon graduation she began working for Daktronics Sports Marketing as the Regional Contract Fulfillment Manager. After working for two years, she decided to attend Texas Tech University to pursue her MBA in Entrepreneurship and Health Organization management as well as a MSBA in Healthcare Administration with a projected graduation of May 2011.

Now in its 28th year, the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation honors students working towards their degrees at Texas colleges and universities, and to date has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships to exceptional students pursuing an education at Texas' leading institutions of higher learning.
