Rawls College of Business' Welcomes New Development Team

Congratulations to David Henry on his promotion to Director of Development.

David Henry's Texas Tech roots run very deep.  He received a Bachelor's degree in Spanish in 1997, and his Master of Business Administration in International Business in 2008. David is extremely excited to be named the development director, and the Rawls College of Business is delighted to have such a wonderful team player leading the development office into 2011.

Scott Turner is now the Regional Director of Development for the Rawls College of Business.

Scott C. Turner was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but lived throughout the South and in Texas during childhood. He received a BA in History from Baylor University in 1995. During his early career, Scott worked in politics, including three winning political campaigns. He was Regional Director for Senator Phil Gramm, worked in three legislative sessions in Austin, and lobbied for various cities and counties in Texas.

Outside of politics, Scott has worked in sales, marketing, public relations, and advertising. Scott co-wrote an award winning advertising campaign. In his job, prior to Texas Tech, Scott started a marketing and public relations department for a start up healthcare software company. Scott has worked for 3 1/2 years at Texas Tech. He began as a regional major gifts officer, worked on the Rawls Building campaign, then transitioned to working for Rawls as Regional Director in Dallas for the past year. Scott has been in Dallas for ten years. He is involved in various charities locally and serves on two boards.
