The Health Organization Management program at the Rawls College of Business was recently ranked 41st in healthcare management graduate programs according to US News.
As the baby boomers start to retire, there has been an increase in the demand for healthcare thus increasing the demand for individuals with sophisticated management and leadership skills in healthcare. Texas Tech University currently has one of the only 13 MBA-based programs designed to fill this need.
James Hoffman, the director of the health organization management program, believes that this ranking will bring in more students and publicity of the program.
"Our ranking is a real testament to the professors who teach in the program, and the students who are in it," Hoffman said. "It is due to the efforts and hard work of all the faculty and staff."
