Texas Tech Rawls College of Business alumnus and newly appointed Advisory Council member, Ronald D. Butler II, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of First Financial Bankshares by the Board of Directors of First Financial Bankshares, Inc. In addition to his titles as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Butler has also been promoted to Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of First Financial Bank, Abilene.
Butler graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and went on to receive his MBA from Tarleton State University. Butler currently serves as Chairman of the Abilene Industrial Foundation and was Chairman of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce in 2010. He serves on the board of directors of the Hendrick Medical Center Foundation, West Texas Rehabilitation Center and West Central Texas Municipal Water District.
Butler is promoted along with colleague and Baylor University Alum Marelyn B. Shedd, who will assume the role of President of First Financial Bank, Abilene.
