By: Trevor Bell
The School of Accounting's Master of Science in Accounting program continues to showcase excellence as it was ranked as the no. 29 best accounting master's program in the country, according to the Public Accounting Report. The Rawls College has now been ranked in the top 30 for consecutive years.
"The School of Accounting in the Rawls College of Business is consistently ranked one of the best programs in the country--by recruiters, by alumni, and by our colleagues at other universities," Dr. Robert Ricketts, Department Head for the School of Accounting and Frank M. Burke Chair in Taxation, said. "Well before graduation, most of our students have full-time job offers from the best employers in the world. Our alumni hold leadership positions in organizations across the globe, and their success has created unparalleled opportunities for our current students. We combine world-class faculty with outstanding students, and the results speak for themselves."
The Public Accounting Report rankings are determined by a survey given to accounting professors each year. The report serves as an independent newsletter of the accounting profession.
