Dr. Stephanie Thomas, assistant professor of practice in the Area of Marketing, has received the 2014 Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education (DSJIE) Outstanding Reviewer Award. Dr. Thomas, who became a member of DSJIE's Editorial Review Board in Sept. 2014, was selected for this award based on the quality and comprehensiveness of her reviews.
"As a reviewer, you aren't entirely sure the exact value of your feedback. Being named an outstanding reviewer by DSJIE allows me to know that other researchers have felt that the insights and guidance I offered in my reviews were useful to them and helped them make informed decisions," Dr. Thomas said.
The DSJIE is a peer-reviewed journal of the Decision Sciences Institute. Its mission is to publish significant research relevant to teaching, learning, and education in the decision sciences - quantitative and behavioral approaches to managerial decision making. The journal welcomes submissions relevant to the application and practice of the decision sciences both in business and other domains such as, but not limited to, healthcare, product development, and engineering management. For more information, visit DJSIE's website or contact Dr. Thomas at firstname.lastname@example.org.This supports the efforts outlined in the Rawls College of Business Strategic Plan.
