The Gilman Scholarship Program aims to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad and the countries and regions where they go by offering awards to undergraduates who might otherwise not participate due to financial constraints. It provides funds of up to $5,000 for students who are Pell Grants recipients to pursue study programs outside of the U.S. for up to one year. The scholarship is made available through the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in the U.S. Department of State. This supports the efforts outlined in the Rawls College of Business Strategic Plan.
