Shiloh Old, a 2012 Rawls College International Business graduate, and his father, David, were recently featured on CNBC's show Blue Collar Millionaires based on the success of their family-owned company, Old Wood LLC. The show, which premiered in July, documents people who have made millions by getting their hands dirty through blue collar work.
The New Mexico-based business salvages trees left behind in forest fires, which would otherwise go to waste, and turns the wood into flooring material. The company has recently grown its revenue from $300,000 to $1.2 million per year. The episode, titled "Out of the Ashes," aired last Wednesday, Aug. 5.
