Dr. Mayukh Dass - J.B. Hoskins Associate Professor of Marketing, director of the Rawls Business Leadership Program, and marketing Ph.D. advisor - is a well-documented researcher and an influential member of the Rawls College team. Recently, Dass has co-authored several papers that range in topic from consumer marketing to management innovation. Below, find a breakdown of his recent publications.
Dass co-authored a paper titled "Strategies and Applications of Intelligent Agent Technologies (IATs) in Marketing," published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, 44(1), 24-45. This A+ journal was selected as one of the five finalists for the 2016 Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science Best Paper Award.
With ex-Ph.D. student, Kyung-Ah Byun (who is currently a faculty member for the University of Texas at Tyler), Dass co-authored "An Examination of Innovative Consumers' Playfulness on their Pre-Ordering Behavior." This paper has been accepted for publication at the Journal of Consumer Marketing.
Dass co-authored a paper titled "Building Innovation Capability: The Role of Top Management Innovativeness and Relative-exploration Orientation," with another ex-Ph.D. student, Xinchun Wang, who currently teaches at the University of North Dakota. The paper has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Business Research.
Additionally, Dass has another publication that has been accepted for the Journal of Business Research. With Omer Topaloglu, Dass co-authored a paper titled "Does who we are affect what we say and when? Investigating the impact of individual characteristics on the microblogging response." Topaloglu is also an ex-Ph.D. student, who currently teaches on faculty at the University of Eastern Illinois.
