Students holding a leadership position within a student organization at the Rawls College had the opportunity to meet with advisory council members in small groups to discuss leadership on Thursday March 30. The meetings fostered conversations about what makes a good leader and how to identify potential leaders. Advisory council members shared their extensive experiences with leaders and how developing strong leadership skills played a role in their successes.
Student organizations that participated include: Alpha Kappa Psi, Business Valuation Club, DECA Tech, Delta Sigma Pi, National Association of Black Accountants and Tech Marketing Association.

The Rawls Advisory Council was established in 2001 and consists of 60 individuals from the business world who bring a wide variety of expertise and leadership to Rawls College students and administration.
