
The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business is positioned among the top business colleges in the 2026 Niche Best Colleges for Business in America. The latest (August 2025) ranking at No. 35 places the Rawls College behind Purdue University and ahead of Clemson University, Arizona State, and Penn State.
In addition, the 2026 rankings also place the Rawls College in the top three of Best Colleges for Business in Texas, behind Texas A&M University (No. 2) and the University of Texas (No. 1). The No. 3 mark positions the Rawls College above Southern Methodist University (No. 7), University of Houston (No. 8), University of North Texas (No. 9), and University of Texas-Dallas (No. 10).
Dean of Rawls College Margaret L. Williams, Ph.D., says earning high marks for excellence and receiving top ratings in these latest rankings is a distinction that reflects enduring commitment to both exceptional teaching and student satisfaction and underscores the colleges academic quality.

Complementing the colleges top placements, Niche also ranked two of the Rawls Colleges business academic areas in the upper echelons of its Best Colleges for Accounting & Finance – standing at No. 42 for Best Colleges for Accounting & Finance in America and No. 6 for Best Colleges for Accounting & Finance in Texas.
