About
Dr. Emily Neubert is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Rawls College of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., she was a management consultant for Alvarez & Marsal in Dallas, Texas in its Corporate Performance Improvement division. She completed her B.B.A. in Management of Information Systems and her M.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University where she also competed as a member of the Texas A&M swim team. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial decision-making and entrepreneurial action and has been published in premier entrepreneurship and management journals, including the Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Management Studies, and Personnel Psychology. She currently teaches MGT 3375, New Value Creation, which is an undergraduate course that explores the new venture creation process.
