Research Interests
Her research interests are studying alternative agricultural systems to manage plant diseases in the South High Plains agricultural industry. Her focus is mainly on cotton and peanut but she expects to also expand her horizon to other drought resistant crops. With every experiment she expects to use the present in agriculture to imagine and tangibilize the agriculture of the future. She teaches one plant pathology course where she enforces critical thinking on her students in order for them to evaluate and create new science.Excellence in Cotton & Natural Fibers Research Network
