Various training is required for each of the areas below. Please use the links to find what training is necessary.

RCR Training

Faculty Responsible & Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) Training – NSF training requirements as of 31 July 2023

The goals of the RCR training are to educate research trainees in all critical areas of Responsible Research and encourage research trainees to incorporate responsible research practices throughout their careers.

The TTU Institutional Review Board (IRB) recommends that all researchers complete a training course in conducting research with human subjects.

Texas Tech Environmental Health & Safety provides online safety training to faculty, staff, and students for greater understanding of the safety procedures and compliance.

FCOI Training

Faculty or other personnel who have applied or plan to apply for Public Health Service (PHS) funding must complete training and disclose business or financial interests before submitting proposals or receiving funds (including noncompetitive renewal awards).
