Feed Your Body and Soul Peer Educator Tabling
Monday, March 27th | 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. | Between the SUB and the Library
In this educational tabling, Peer Educators, Student Mental Health Community, and the Center for Collegiate Recovery Communities will educate students about healthy body image and eating disorders. Peer Educators will also discuss the events happening during Feed Your Body and Soul Week and how students can get involved.
Our Story in Stages

Our Story in Stages is an interactive panel in collaboration with RISE, Association of Students Acting in Service, and Student Mental Health Community showcasing the path to recovery. Hear from people in recovery about their journey and what motivated them to begin their path to recovery.
Glow & Flow Yoga
Tuesday, March 28th | 7:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. | UREC, Room 121
Join RISE, UREC, and Fitwell for glow yoga in support of Feed Your Body & Soul Week. At this event, engage in mindful yoga with a meditation component and gain educational resources regarding wellness.

HPV/STI Clinic
Friday, March 31st | 10:00 A.M. - 3 P.M. | SUB Matador Room
Join RISE and the City of Lubbock Health Department for this testing and vaccine clinic. STI and HPV tests will be available to students, and hepatitis B and shingles vaccines are offered for staff and faculty. Participants must bring their insurance card but will be helped regardless of status. To receive results, participants will visit the City of Lubbock Health Department clinic.
Body Project

Join the Center for Collegiate Recovery Communities, Student Counseling Center, and RISE for the Body Project. The Body Project is a group-based event that helps people confront unrealistic appearance ideals and develop healthy body image and self-esteem. It has repeatedly been shown to reduce body dissatisfaction, negative mood, unhealthy dieting, and disordered eating. It is not an appropriate group for individuals with eating disorders or history of eating disorders. Please email Alex Shrode at Alexandria.Shrode@ttu.edu to sign up.
Eating Disorders Awareness Walk

Join the Center for Collegiate Recovery Communities, Student Counseling Center, RISE, UREC, and Fitwell for the Eating Disorders Awareness Walk. Please join us for a glow walk supporting Eating Disorder Recovery! Chances are we all know someone who has struggled with their food relationship, and we want to bring awareness and hope to the Texas Tech Campus. We encourage participants to wear bright colors to represent your bright future! Hope to see you show up and shine on!
