SI Leader - ACCT 2300 (FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING)

Natasha is an SI Leader for ACCT 2300 - Financial Accounting. She joined the SI Team during the fall of 2021. She is from Frisco, Texas.

Why did you become an SI Leader?

I believe that the best way to understand a subject is if you can teach it. I wanted to continue my understanding of accounting while helping students learn the material for the first time. I am passionate about helping students and putting concepts into new perspectives for students. I love to see my students begin to truly understand the material and become more confident in themselves at the end of the session. 

Name an interesting fact about yourself.

I have been teaching English online to children in China for over 3 years. I have taught around 7,590 Chinese children all over the country!

What is your favorite thing about Texas Tech?

I love the student culture at Texas Tech. We are passionate students who supports our school from Day 1 of becoming a Red Raider.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I hope to work for a company who has a great company culture as a Financial Analyst. I would love to work abroad again or in NYC for a few years!
