Donna Hamilton, Ph.D.
Donna Hamilton is an Associate Professor of Biology at University of North Texas Dallas
(UNTD). She teaches courses in Evolution and Ethics of Science. Dr. Hamilton also
works to improve communication between biologists and engineers; two key decision
makers regarding environmental impacts.
She holds three degrees in Biology including a Ph.D. in Biology from Texas Tech University.
Dr. Hamilton's research interests include increasing the diversification of STEM professionals,
biomimicry and urban ecology. She is involved in community improvement efforts such
as a survey of flora and fauna on the developing UNTD campus as well as research on
the effect of limited green spaces in urban settings. Donna is an avid scuba diver
and aspiring artist.
