Mr. Robert Stone has been a Physics Instructor at Texas Southmost College (TSC) in Brownsville, Texas since 2017, and he is senior personnel and the TSC liaison for the BAT-LSAMP alliance. Prior to joining TSC Mr. Stone was a staff member at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and its predecessor The University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College (UTB/TSC). 

Mr. Stone has been involved with numerous outreach programs over the past 18 years.    He served as the director of the Research Experiences for Undergraduates and Research Experiences for Teachers in physics at UTRGV, and he was Director of Education and Public Outreach for The Center for Gravitational Wave Astronomy at UTB/TSC.  He was Co-director of the Gravitational Wave Summer School which hosted advanced undergraduate and graduate students from around the world, and he was part of a grant-funded group that performed physics demonstrations in schools and for the public.
