Robert Morehead, Affiliate
Instructor & Director of the Preston Gott Observatory
Physics and Astronomy
Dr. Morehead's research interests are in exoplanets. He is interested in using simulation-based statistical methods, like approximate Bayesian computation, to understand the orbital architectures of exoplanets populations discovered with space-based transit surveys such as Kepler and the upcoming TESS mission. As the director of the Preston Gott Observatory, he is also interested in using small telescopes for photometric follow-up of targets from both ground and space-based exoplanet transit surveys.
