Meet Jocelyn
Hey! My name is Jocelyn Araujo and I am from Perryton, Texas (a small town located four hours north of Lubbock). While the majority of my free time is spent studying at the library, I also enjoy working out and hanging with friends! I also love attending all the cool events that are hosted here on campus because it gives me an opportunity to meet new people! As a Red Raider, when I am not studying or in class, I am extremely active in Texas Tech organizations. I am a proud member of my sorority, Health Occupations Students of America, and the Hispanic Student Society. Off of campus, I love going to the mall and relaxing at Prairie Dog Town.
If I could go back in time to give myself advice on my first day at Texas Tech, I would definitely tell myself to balance out my academic life and social life. Focusing on classes and assignments should be #1 priority, but don't forget to give yourself time to relax and explore new places and friendships.
