Meet Sydney

Hey y'all! My name is Sydney Calk, and I am a sophomore majoring in Marketing from Heath, TX. I am a bubbly ball of energy, and I love getting to meet new people. Some of my favorite things include Disney, musicals, football games, basketball games, and everything Texas Tech.

On-campus, I am involved in Greek Life, where I am the Director of Chapter Archives for my sorority. I am also a member of Yellow Caped Raider, an organization that raises future assistance dogs and spreads awareness for Canine Companions for Independence. Off-campus, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching movies, listening to music, making crafts with my Cricut, and playing games.

My proudest moment at Texas Tech is when I made the President's List. This was such an accomplishment because I putting a lot of pressure on myself about my grades so it was rewarding to see all of my hard work pay off.
