Meet Wyland

Hey! I'm Wyland! I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Dallas on my own to finish up my high school. After moving, I was introduced to playing Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, and dance. Here at TTU, I got involved with the Filipino Student Association, and it has been the most impactful choice I made in my college experience.

When I'm finished with my undergraduate degree, I plan on getting my Masters degree in Business. I want to work somewhere in the field of computer science, but teh last thing I want to do is sit in a cubicle all day. 

If I could give you one piece of advice before starting your college experience here at Texas Tech, it would be to enjoy college while you're here. You only get a few years to enjoy the college experience. While your grades are important, so is your social life and health. Chill out and balance.
