Meet Laura
Hi, I'm Laura! I am a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies. I enjoy hiking, painting, and hanging out with my friends. I have two cats named Skipper and Marina that are super cute!In my experience at Tech, there's been a ton of things available to me on and off campus. On campus, I like to play badminton at the Rec and hang out with my friends at the Market. Off campus, I like to hike! There's some great places near Lubbock that I've gone to like Palo Duro and Caprock Canyon.
Some advice that I wish I'd given to myself on my first day of being a college student is to be yourself, especially when it is scary. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Oh, and do your homework! You can't forget that.
